Most real estate agents, when asked, will tell you they’ve had other careers. They have chosen real estate as a secondary career to something they "did before." While that is great, I have chosen a different approach.

Real estate has always been my passion!

My career in real estate began in 1978, with a firm in Wayzata. I soon learned that customer service is the key to success. While I have goals and expectations, you need someone to listen and turn your dreams, desires and expectations into reality. Professional training taught me that there is not just one way to look at a situation and with expert coaching and personal development I have become an expert with a customer driven perspective.

I learned early on that figuring it out for yourself is necessary for success. The daughter of a single parent, my mother and I worked together to achieve a better life. As I grew up my mom purchased homes that needed help and elbow grease. With a lot of hard work and vision, we turned them into something to be proud of. Even my current home was a "project of love" to turn around.

These life experiences plus the understanding of landscaping, interior design, property location assessment, neighborhood evaluation, customer communication, and "just feeling right and comfortable" gives me a background that few Realtors understand. Why minimize the single biggest purchase and investment that most people make in their lives? Your home choice says a lot about you and my goal is to provide guidance and counseling to ensure that you find that perfect match for your goals and needs.

Since my career in real estate began in 1978, I have felt it necessary to challenge myself every day. My philosophy is that it is important to continually hone my skills to stay at the cutting edge of techniques that will benefit my clients. That is why I am proud to have my Minnesota Brokers license, something only a small percentage of real estate agents obtain.

Over the course of my career I’ve worked in many sectors of the real estate industry: administration, management, marketing, corporate relocation, consulting and residential sales. My extensive experience will be working transparently and energetically behind the scenes to market your home or make your home purchase smooth and trouble free.
